This Rolex Daytona is 18K yellow gold on a custom brown ostrich strap with cream colored stitching. It has a factory champagne diamond dial with black ring sub-dials. This watch has the Zenith el Primero 4030 chronograph movement. Rolex used this movement from approximately 1988 until 2000 when they introduced the 4130 Rolex In-House movement with the Parachrom hair spring.

This watch is from circa 1990 (L serial). It has the black gloss dial and acrylic crystal. This is a transition model when Rolex was adding the white gold surroundings to the tritium markers on the dial.
